Maraka Peter Silvio is an accomplished finance professional with over 9 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, taxation, budgeting, risk management, internal controls, audits and investments. He joined the KenGen Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme (KenGen SRBS) in July 2021 and currently serves as an Investment Officer.

He holds a Master of Science (Finance and Investment) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option-First Class Honours), both from the University of Nairobi. He is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Tax Administration at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) and the Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA) professional course with the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA), deepening his expertise in both tax and investment disciplines. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a member in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Before joining the Investment Team at KenGen SRBS, he served as an Accountant within the Scheme, a Senior Auditor at Taxmart Kenya and previously worked in the Management Accounting section at Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen).
