He was appointed to the Board of Trustees in June 2023 as a sponsor nominated trustee. He is a member of the Investment & Strategy Committee and a member of the Audit & Risk Management Committee 

He is a passionate Insurance guru with vast experience in Insurance spanning over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Insurance and Master of business Administration in Insurance from the University of Nairobi.  He is an Insurance Practitioner with an advanced Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, United Kingdom.

He is an associate member of the insurance institute of Kenya (IIK). He has attended various leadership courses  and has held several leadership positions in society. He is currently a Trustee board member of KenGen Foundation.

He has previously worked Co-operative Consultancy & Insurance Agency Ltd as Principal officer where he Pioneered Bancassurance line of Business, Co-operative Bank of Kenya Ltd, CIC Insurance and Pioneer Assurance Co Ltd at various senior management positions.

He is currently, Insurance Manager at KenGen PLC since August 2014.
