He joined the scheme in January 2025 as the Procurement Officer in Charge of the Procurement Department. He has over 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and holds a Master’s Degree in Procurement and Contract Management and a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management (Transport and Logistics) - JKUAT. He is a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional, a Licensed Practitioner and a Professional Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM). Renowned for his strategic and innovative contributions towards Supply Chain excellence, Stephen has earned various recognition including the Bronze Medal honour of the President’s Award, National Values & Principles of Governance Champion (2023, 2024) "Best Supply Chain Research Paper of the Year Award" (2024)1r and the prestigious "Supply Chain Raising Star Award" (2023)1r. Prior to joining KenGen SRBS, Stephen served as a Sourcing Officer at Kenya Revenue Authority and a Procurement Assistant at Kenya Rural Roads Authority.
